From 09/05/2016 to 09/08/2016

Université Lumière Lyon 2 - 4Bis Rue de l'Université, 69007 Lyon

We kindly invite you to participate to the 11th international Congress on Catalysis and Fine Chemicals (CAFC-11) that will be organized in Lyon, France, September 2016.

CAFC-11 is the next edition of previous successful CAFCs held in Finland (2013), Spain (2009), Italy (2007), Germany (2005), Netherlands (2003), Switzerland (1996) and France (1988-1999). The congress is devoted to the application of any type of catalysts -homogeneous, heterogeneous and enzymatic; whatever are involved metals, organometallic complexes, organic species, or even acids and bases, to the synthesis of fine chemicals, with special emphasis on selectivity issues.

The aim is to bring together researchers from both academia and industry working in this area to share their expertise as a way to open new collaborations helping to solve forthcoming problems in the chemical industry. Today’s research in the field of Applied Catalysis must also involve eco-efficient methodologies that could be addressed by chemical engineering (multicomponent reactions, multiphase or flow reactors, multifunctional reactors…) as well as implementing more sustainable synthetic methods for fine chemistry based on catalytic transformation of bio-based substances.

The congress will consist in several Plenary Lectures by invited speakers together with a number of Keynote Lectures, Oral Communications and Posters selected by the Scientific Committee after refereeing.
